Happy Birthday Jonas !!!

You will have to go to Jason & Nicole's blog for pictures of the festivities. Warning...If you weren't afraid of Sponge Bob Square Pants before, you will be after looking at his cake.

For those of you that haven't heard, Rachael shaved Jonas's head, so he looks a little scary, but still adorable. He had a nice day playing with his trucks & bubbles. I can't believe he is three.

Other News.. I got a job at Overton Power here in Mesquite which I start on Monday. They are on the State of Nevada PERS (Public Employees Retirement System), which means great benefits, but not much pay. I feel blessed to have it though, and am anxious to get on an insurance plan that will actually be beneficial to us.

Jordan and his buddy Taylor, have been chosen to Perform with an Orchestra Group in Las Vegas. He will go up next Friday and practice with them and then perform on the next day. I can't wait to see it!

Jason's Birthday was March 31st. I apparently have absolutely no pictures of him as a teenager. It was right around this time that my camera was stolen on Mother's day at a Buffet we went to. You'll have to trust me that he was handsome :)

How late is too late?

So I have been slacking horribly on the Birthday Blog Thing. March is such a busy month for us..no excuse but the truth. I realized that I haven't done a Rachel, Jason or Lori Birthday so..I will try to catch up today. We'll see how far I get, if everyone stays asleep I should be good to go :)

So again...I have never done a video, and you can't hear anyone but me, and it takes me an hour to figure out how to stop it, but they are sooo cute so here goes. :)



I love when Elijah finds the purse and is going to give it to Elizabeth and she yanks it from him like, "What are you doing wuth my purse?" It must be something about us girls and our purses...I can't stand when anyone touches my purse without permission.

Peace & Quiet

Rachel was at the house yesterday to help with some weeding in the back yard, and to do her laundry, so she put Jonas down for his nap in our bed and he just was so cute when I went to check on him I had to snap a couple of pictures.

So now I will be spending a few days with my other Grand Babies and I am very excited :) Sad that I will miss the festivities but I will be having a blast here. Maybe I will have some pictures of the Twins soon to post...we'll see how I do.

Jordan's Music Recital

We are so proud of Jordan. As most of you know Jordan has been playing the Stand up Bass in Orchestra for a couple of years and he loves it, and is very good, if I do say so myself. This past Saturday he, along with 7 others from his high school were selected to be judged at an event in Las Vegas for the Southern Nevada Schools. The judges rate them on a scale from 1, meaning perfect to 5, meaning good enough to compete but not so perfect. He got a 2, and the medal that you see above. He was very happy especially since he thought he would get a 3, best case. He plans on competing again next year.

17 years old today :) Poor guy has been sick most of the day, he did go to the show earlier with a few of his friends. He doesn't even want any of his cake so you know he really doesn't feel good.
