My Favorite Christmas Decorations

Hi Everyone,

I know it's been a long time, and you may have noticed my blog is a mess. I got so annoyed with it and haven't had time to really fix it. Anyway Sarah tagged me a while back so here goes.

This is our favorite and we received it from Jamie one year that he spent Christmas with us. It seriously is the crowning jewel of all our decorations. Below you get a better idea of how it looks above the fireplace :)

Next is an ornament that Jeremy made in elementary school !

This next one of the Last Supper, it was a Christmas Gift that Jason, with the help of one of his friends made for me in Middle School. I realize it's not a Christmas Decoration, but I love it, and I think I may have just inadvertently expanded the qualifying tag items to include gifts:)

Who could resist this one of my precious little Jordan at 6 years old

I don't remember who gave me this next one so we are going to pretend it was Rachel.

This next one we received from Terry's Brother Gery's Wife Karen

The "LI BIEN" ORNAMENT
In Chinese, the phrase "Li Bien" means "inside". The Li Bien Ornament showcases the age-old skill of inside painting. Through a small opening in the ornament, the artist repeatedly inserts a miniature brush to paint the artwork. The process is painstaking and time consuming requiring two days to paint each ornament. The resulting ornament is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind keepsake we will treasure for years to come.

I think my sister Lori gave me this angel, if not it was Bonnie, Terry's sister. Sorry...the memory is failing me.

This Santa & Mrs Claus belonged to my Dad's girlfriend Eddie and the kids, Jeremy & Rachel just loved them so she gave them to us :)

I don't remember who gave this to us either, nativity ornaments are by far my favorite.

So there it is, sorry there are so many. I tag Jamie. I think everyone else is out of town already, I also challenge the Perkowski's/Bank's to start blogs so we can stay in touch better.

I am sorry to link everyone by their relationship but it helps people to know who is who, like Terry's family if they log on to see what's up, which they do, but they don't comment.

You have a lot of neat ornaments! I love nativity ones, too - you gave me one of my favorite Christmas decorations a long time ago: a little white marble (or some such material) egg, hollowed out on one side, with a teensy, tiny nativity scene carbed inside of it. Jamie never gave me anything cool like that...I'll have to discuss that with him. Love you.

I remember those ornaments, I loved them, I have never seen anything like them since. I am assuming the carbed is carved, nice to know I'm not the only one who makes booboos on the keyboard. Love you too.

I have to say my favorite is the ornament with Jordan's little picture on it. I just love his smile! I loved seeing all the Christmas decorations. I wish we didn't have to take them down.
